Description:
Sweet wine from Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes, dried and crushed using the traditional Tuscan Method. The bunches of grapes are harvested in October and left to wilt until February. After the crushing the Vinsanto remain for 5 years in small oak barrels.
Tasting Notes:
Impressive sweet wine. Brilliant gold yellow with amber hues. Intense and complex bouquet of apple jam, ripe pineapple and fruit passion, accompanied bya great honey notes, sweet almond, raisins and mixed dried fruit. Full body, very intense at the palate with an extraordinary freshness and pleasantly savory wake. Very persistent, complex and elegant.
